Dental adhesives and cements have evolved through many generations. Continued research and development have provided the profession with universal, self-adhesive, non-technique sensitive, durable as well as sensitivity-free options when placing direct and indirect restorations. Current technologies have greatly simplified the process. This course will discuss the latest innovations and demonstrate how to take advantage of new developments in adhesives and cements while providing a high level of success with a predictable outcome.
Participants will learn how to: • incorporate the latest universal adhesives and cements in their practices • use high-bond strength self-adhesive resin cement in low-retention crown cementation scenarios • use resin modified glass ionomer cement for simplified cementation of Zirconia crowns • use today’s universal adhesives to create “super dentin”
